My recommendation if you have to be in NJ would be to stay here for the views but eat/drink somewhere, anywhere else. So we spent the rest of the weekend staying here for our friends wedding watching mistake after mistake being made by the front of house staff, so many that frankly I can’t be bothered to write them all out. This quality of service continued throughout the weekend. We finally got barman’s attention and ordered two drinks, and we wait….barman walks off… so we wait some more, after a few minutes girl behind bar asks if we’d like to order, explanation from her for our original barman disappearing? ‘he’s lost his mobile phone’… he returns at this point and makes a frankly undrinkable gin and tonic and a rum and ginger ale (I ordered rum & ginger beer but who cares right?). Headed down for drinks the first night, view was incredible but bar staff could not have been ruder, they started off by chatting amongst themselves for a few minutes, then a waitress came over with two plates of food and apparently it takes 4 people to figure out where they should go.
$150 per night incidentals deposit taken on our debit card but not returned for 3-5 days.Īrrived to be told there weren’t enough carts or staff to help with luggage, okay fine we’re not precious and we got our bags 3000+ miles so 10 stories further won’t kill us… No concierge/luggage carts or assistance.
From Broadway, Times Square, to local farmers markets, this is Manhattan with a small. Unparalleled hotel rooftop views and easy transportation options brings the iconic city closer than ever. Housekeepers happy and friendly and given cleanliness and quality of room great at their jobs.īar staff were the rudest people I’ve ever met in the service industry but more inexcusable all were terrible at making drinks, bad enough your attitudes stink but to be so bad at the one thing you’ve been hired to do… Envue Autograph Collection For travelers craving convenient freedom and an uncluttered view, EnVue, Autograph Collection is New York City on exhibit.
